Case Details

1. LNG Carrier Operations and the Imperative for Precision Leak Detection

Modern LNG carriers like ****** navigate complex operational landscapes where cargo integrity directly impacts safety and profitability.
Handling cryogenic methane, ethane, and propane requires systems capable of identifying minute leaks within high-noise environments. Traditional methods often fail to localize leaks efficiently, especially during active operations with machinery running at 100+ dB noise levels.



















2. Field-Validated Performance: HERTZINNO HZ-HA-170P (Gen 2 Pro)

The December 4th testing aboard the LNG utilized our HZ-HA-170P Professional Edition featuring:

  • 138-element phased array for superior spatial resolution
  • ATEX IIB T4 certification for explosive gas environments
  • 200 kHz sampling rate capturing ultrasonic signatures

Propane (cargo system)

The second test was made on leak prepared on cargo (propane) installation – slightly stronger than human breath – see below.
Cargo compressor was running in the gas plant during the test.

Freon (cascade valves)

Third test was carried out on two vales of cascade freon system. Upper or lower valve was leaking – HERTZINNO without mistakes detected leaks.
