HZ-FA-8 supports two complementary alarm methods. Characteristic alarm mode uses measurable acoustic thresholds for transparent condition monitoring, while AI alarm mode recognizes specific abnormal sound patterns for intelligent power equipment diagnosis.

Characteristic alarm mode monitors real-time acoustic feature values. When sound pressure level, main frequency, frequency band energy ratio or smoothness exceeds the configured threshold, HZ-FA-8 can trigger an alarm and store related acoustic data for analysis.
