Hertzinno Warranty & Return Policy

Effective Date: February 23, 2026

1. 2-Year Limited Warranty

Hertzinno provides a 24-month (2-year) limited hardware warranty starting from the date of delivery for all HA3 Series acoustic imaging cameras and core equipment.

  • Coverage: Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including MEMS microphone array failure, processor malfunctions, and display defects under normal operating conditions.

  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:

    • Physical damage caused by impact, drops, or improper handling.

    • Water or dust ingress exceeding the specified IP54 rating.

    • Unauthorized disassembly, modifications, or firmware tampering.

    • Consumables (e.g., batteries), which may carry a separate 6–12 month warranty period.

2. Return & Repair Logistics Path

To ensure efficient technical support, all returns or repair requests must follow the Geographic Support Protocol:

  • Path A: Local Authorized Distributors

    • Customers who purchased through a local partner must first contact their Authorized Distributor for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request.

    • The distributor will perform initial diagnostics. If a return is eligible, the distributor will manage the logistics and coordination with the factory.

  • Path B: Global Headquarters (HQ)

    • Direct-sale customers or those located in regions without an authorized local distributor must contact Hertzinno HQ Support directly.

    • Strict Requirement: No shipments will be accepted without a valid RMA Number issued by HQ. Unidentified packages will be rejected at the sender’s expense.

3. Shipping and Costs

  • Warranty Service: The customer is responsible for shipping costs and insurance when sending the device to the distributor or HQ. Hertzinno (or the distributor) will cover the return shipping costs after repair or replacement.

  • Non-Warranty/Out-of-Warranty: All logistics costs, diagnostic fees, and repair parts are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Duties & Taxes: For international shipments, any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the equipment owner.

4. Data Liability

Hertzinno is not liable for the loss of any data stored on the device’s internal memory. Customers are strictly advised to back up all acoustic data, images, and reports before shipping the unit for service.

5. Restocking Fee

For non-defective returns (e.g., "Change of Mind") within the allowed 14-day window, a restocking fee of 15% to 25% of the contract value will be applied to cover inspection, re-calibration, and administrative costs.
